![]() ![]() It feels like it takes so much time for anything interesting to happen which makes me want to put the game down or constantly alt tab to chrome to find more interesting stuff. ![]() Games that I didn't find addicting are things like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Enderal, Dragon's Dogma. I think it's fair to say that the past few months it's been one of my main reasons to even get out of bed which I'm desperately missing now. This week I finally reached the point where I felt like I was running out of interesting things to do so now I'm looking for something else. Minecraft (I guess for some people it's addicting, but the game is entirely reliant on intrinsic motivation which I lack, I really need external motivation to move me, I'm also not very creative or good at building)įinal Fantasy XIV, 1600+ hours, sometimes playing it 70 hours per week. Roguelikes (I tried some, refunded multiple, checked out a few more, some people find them addicting but I just really can't get into most of them) Monster Hunter World, finished the base game but wasn't motivated enough to continue with IceborneĮvery soulslike in existence (but only liking a few of them) Rimworld, got too overwhelmed and refunded Stardew Valley, very addicting to min maxįactorio, addicting at first but I got too overwhelmed after the first 10 hours, my perfectionism also wouldn't let me enjoy it (You can assume I've at least checked out every other competitive multiplayer game in existence already)ĭestiny 2, Warframe (didn't try them very long, but they also didn't hook me enough to try longer) Games I played / liked / tried / checked out: I want to get hooked, I want a reason to not put the game down and I want to have a reason to keep returning day after day. I want a game that is designed to be addicting.
